1. Who we are
Hakeemly (hakeemly.com) is a health information and tools platform and the controller of the data described here. Privacy contact: privacy@hakeemly.com.
2. Tools and health values
- Tool results are calculated entirely on your device. The values you enter and the results are not sent to our servers.
- The doctor discussion guide is kept in your browser's session storage (sessionStorage), is deleted when you close the tab, and is never sent anywhere.
- To make moving between calculators easier, a few common measurements (age, sex, weight, height, waist, blood pressure, creatinine and heart rate) are kept in this tab's session storage only, deleted when you close it, and you can clear them with the “Clear” button.
- No health value reaches analytics: technically, analytics accepts only event names, tool IDs and language.
3. What we collect
- Contact form: name, email, message type and message, only to reply to you.
- Newsletter: your email, language and sign-up date, with your consent.
- Doctor applications: identity, qualifications and licence details for verification; only what the doctor agrees to is published.
- Analytics: Google Analytics for visits, pages and which tools are used (no health values), after consent in Europe and the UK.
5. Processors
Google Firebase (hosting, database and doctor sign-in, with servers in the Middle East region), Google Analytics, and Hostinger for email. Where data leaves your country we rely on approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
- Contact messages: 24 months.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Rejected doctor applications: 12 months.
- Google Analytics: 14 months.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. Email privacy@hakeemly.com and we will reply within 30 days.
8. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
