Signing in for the first time
- Once your application is accepted, you receive an email from admin@hakeemly.com with a link to set your password. If you can't find it, check your spam folder.
- Open the link and choose a strong password.
- Sign in to the doctor portal at app.hakeemly.com with your email and password.
Link expired or forgot your password? Email info@hakeemly.com and we will send you a new link.
Installing the app on your phone
The doctor portal works as an app on your phone without an app store. After you sign in, a window suggests installing it. The app appears on your home screen as “HK Doctors” with a teal icon carrying a medical cross, so it is different from the Hakeemly website icon.
On Android (Chrome)
- Tap “Install” in the window that appears after you sign in.
- If the window doesn't appear: open the Chrome menu (⋮) and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
On iPhone (Safari)
- Open the portal in Safari (not another browser).
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Choose “Add to Home Screen”, then “Add”.
Turning on notifications
Notifications are how we tell you something needs you, so we recommend turning them on.
- Open the installed app and tap the bell at the top of the screen.
- Tap “Turn on notifications”, then “Allow” when your phone asks.
- On iPhone, notifications only work after the app is added to the home screen (iOS 16.4 or later).
You are notified when your article is published or the editorial team asks for changes, when a tool is waiting for medical review, when a tool you reviewed is published, and when its periodic review is due. Notifications never contain anyone's health data. Important tasks also arrive by email.
What's in the portal
- Dashboard: what needs you now — your articles and their status, tools waiting for your sign-off, and your profile.
- Tool reviews: calculators and references waiting for medical sign-off, and requesting a review of any tool.
- My Profile: your public profile — edit it, add your bio and photo, or take it offline.
- Write Article: write a new article from your answers.
- My Articles: all your articles, their status and the editorial team's feedback.
You can switch the portal between Arabic and English at the top of the screen.
